GAYA – Mindful Eating ("GAYA", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that helps you track your food, health, and habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the GAYA iOS app and related services (the "Service"). By using GAYA, you agree to this Privacy Policy. Based on what we've disclosed in App Store Connect, GAYA may collect the following categories of data — collected in a way not linked to your real-world identity.
Health & Fitness Data
- Health data (e.g., weight, nutrition, calorie intake). Used for: App functionality and Analytics.
- Fitness data (e.g., activity logs, workouts). Used for: App functionality and Analytics.
Sensitive Information
- Health goals, dietary preferences/restrictions. Used for: App functionality and Product personalization.
User Content
- Photos or videos you upload (e.g., meal pictures). Used for: App functionality only.
Identifiers
- User ID: a pseudonymous ID linked to your account. Used for: App functionality.
- Device ID: a pseudonymous device identifier. Used for: App functionality and Analytics.
Usage Data
- Screens visited, buttons tapped, time in app. Used for: Analytics.
Diagnostics
- Crash data and performance diagnostics. Used for: Stability and bug fixes.
3. Data Not Linked to Your Identity
We use pseudonymous identifiers and do not link your data to your real name, email, or contact details for advertising or cross-app tracking.
