GAYA – Mindful Eating ("GAYA", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that helps you track your food, health, and habits. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use the GAYA iOS app and related services (the "Service"). By using GAYA, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect
Based on what we've disclosed in App Store Connect, GAYA may collect the following categories of data — collected in a way not linked to your real-world identity.
Health & Fitness Data
- Health data (e.g., weight, nutrition, calorie intake). Used for: App functionality and Analytics.
- Fitness data (e.g., activity logs, workouts). Used for: App functionality and Analytics.
Sensitive Information
- Health goals, dietary preferences/restrictions. Used for: App functionality and Product personalization.
User Content
- Photos or videos you upload (e.g., meal pictures). Used for: App functionality only.
Identifiers
- User ID: a pseudonymous ID linked to your account. Used for: App functionality.
- Device ID: a pseudonymous device identifier. Used for: App functionality and Analytics.
- Advertising identifier (IDFA): collected only with your explicit consent via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Used for: Ad attribution and measurement.
Usage Data
- Screens visited, buttons tapped, time in app. Used for: Analytics.
- Conversion events (e.g., subscription starts, free trial activations). Used for: Ad attribution and measurement.
Diagnostics
- Crash data and performance diagnostics. Used for: Stability and bug fixes.
3. Data Not Linked to Your Identity
We use pseudonymous identifiers and do not link your data to your real name, email, or contact details for cross-app tracking. If you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, we may share your advertising identifier and conversion events with third-party ad measurement partners solely to understand which advertising campaigns led you to install or subscribe to GAYA. This sharing occurs only with your consent and is used for attribution measurement — not for building advertising profiles or serving targeted ads within the app.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the Service – run core features, store logs and progress.
- Analytics and improvement – understand usage in aggregate, improve features.
- Personalization – tailor insights and suggestions to your goals.
- Ad attribution and measurement – with your consent, measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns by understanding which ads led to app installs and subscriptions.
- Security and integrity – protect the Service from abuse or misuse.
We do not serve third-party ads within the app and we do not sell your personal information.
5. How We Share Information
We share data only in these limited situations:
- Ad measurement partners – with your consent, we share your advertising identifier, IP address, and conversion events (e.g., subscription starts) with third-party ad platforms to measure and optimize our advertising campaigns. These partners process data under their own privacy policies.
- Service providers under strict confidentiality obligations.
- Legal and safety reasons, where required by law.
- Business transfers (merger/acquisition), with continued data protection.

We keep your data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legal obligations.

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your device and credentials safe.

- الشاشات التي تزورها، والتفاعلات، وبيانات الأعطال. الغرض: التحليلات والتحسين.

٣. البيانات غير المرتبطة بهويتك
لا نربط بياناتك باسمك الحقيقي أو بريدك الإلكتروني لأغراض التتبع بين التطبيقات. إذا منحت الإذن عبر مطالبة شفافية تتبع التطبيقات من Apple، فقد نشارك معرّف الإعلانات وأحداث التحويل مع شركاء قياس الإعلانات لفهم الحملات الإعلانية التي أدت إلى تثبيتك للتطبيق أو اشتراكك. تتم هذه المشاركة فقط بموافقتك وتُستخدم لقياس الإسناد — وليس لبناء ملفات إعلانية أو عرض إعلانات مستهدفة داخل التطبيق.

نشارك البيانات في هذه الحالات المحدودة فقط:
- شركاء قياس الإعلانات — بموافقتك، نشارك معرّف الإعلانات وعنوان IP وأحداث التحويل (مثل بدء الاشتراك) مع منصات إعلانية خارجية لقياس حملاتنا الإعلانية وتحسينها. تعالج هذه الجهات البيانات وفق سياسات الخصوصية الخاصة بها.
- مزودو الخدمات (بموجب التزامات سرية صارمة).
- الأسباب القانونية، حيثما يقتضيه القانون.
- نقل الأعمال (الاندماج/الاستحواذ) مع استمرار حماية البيانات.
٦. الاحتفاظ بالبيانات
